Pavel Khailo

Pavel Khailo (b. 1988, Voroshilovgrad (after 1990 Lugansk), USSR) is artist and researcher, whose practice focuses on political and economical processes in society and particularly their role in contemporary art, education, and entertainment industries. His field of interest includes algorithms of gaming and emotional engagement as political, educational, ideological and economical tools through history and today; instititutional critique, contemporary art within economic and political processes, and especially strategies of self-organization for cultural workers. Pavel Khailo has studied at the Course of Contemporary Art at the School of Visual Communication (Kyiv, Ukraine, 2014), and at the School of Engaged Art by Chto Delat Group (St. Petersburg, Russia, 2016-2017). Lives and works in Kyiv (Ukraine).
